Who keeps the register The guest register is managed by Roberta Zamprogna, resident at Via Camporaghena 19, 54015 Comano (MS), Italy. To view the register, request clarifications, or ask for changes, you can write to bnbvas@gmail.com. A Data Protection Officer has not been appointed, as it is not required by law for this type of activity. What we write in the register To prepare your room, we collect only what is truly necessary: your name, email address, arrival and departure dates, and the number of guests. If you wish, you can add a phone number, a WhatsApp or Telegram contact, or a special note. If you prefer not to, that is perfectly fine. We use this information only to confirm the stay, communicate with you, and welcome you in the best possible way. We do not sell data to anyone and we do not send promotional communications. To understand how to improve the website, we use Google Analytics only with your consent. The service is configured to reduce identifying data and to collect information in aggregated form. Who helps us keep the register safe The data are stored in a secure database managed by Supabase, with servers also located in the United States. Confirmation emails are sent via Resend, which also has infrastructure in the United States. If you accept navigation statistics, Google also processes website usage data. Payments made through the booking engine are processed by Stripe; bookings are managed directly by the property through the website booking form. For these processing activities, the suppliers' respective privacy policies also apply. These providers operate on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission with Decision 2021/914, which ensure an adequate level of data protection also outside the European Union. How long it stays on record Data relating to confirmed stays are kept for 24 months after the end of the stay, unless legal obligations require longer retention, such as tax obligations. Unconfirmed booking requests are deleted within 30 days. Navigation statistics data are kept for a maximum of 14 months. The cookie choice is remembered for 12 months. The keys you hold You can at any time ask us to know what data we keep about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or receive it in a portable format. You can also object to the processing when provided by law. To exercise these rights, you can write to bnbvas@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. If you believe the processing is not correct, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali). How we lock the door We protect data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. We use secure connections, access restricted only to administrators, advanced authentication systems, and automatic request limits to prevent abuse.
