    Trekking Camporaghena–Castello: loop between village and medieval ruin

    A 3-hour loop starting from Camporaghena and climbing to the ruins of the medieval castle. Moderate elevation gain, suitable for walkers with minimal experience. Views over the Taverone valley.

    What it is and why do it

    This is the most accessible trek starting from Camporaghena. A loop of about 3 hours climbing from the village to the ruins of a medieval castle, with views over the Taverone valley and the surrounding mountains.

    Compared to the Groppi, this is a trail for walkers with minimal experience. Limited elevation gain, no equipped sections, no dangerous exposure. Perfect for a morning's walk without the commitment of a full day.

    • Start and finish in Camporaghena, no car needed
