What it is and why go
Bagnone is a village that has it all: a well-preserved medieval castle, a historic centre of alleys and small squares, a stream running through it, restaurants and cafés. It's one of the most pleasant places in Lunigiana for a half-day visit.
The castle overlooks the village from above. Below, the alleys wind down to the Bagnone stream, where in summer you can stroll in the shade. There are bars, restaurants, shops. Enough to spend an afternoon and an evening.
